You may have stumbled upon my blog and thought well that is an interesting name for a blog. I can honestly say it took me a very long time to come up with a blog name. I wanted it to reflect what I want to talk about, I wanted it to reflect my beliefs, my state in life - literally everything! One night I was sitting on the couch and the word Mundane came to mind. I thought well everyone, including myself, at least at some point in their lives feels like LIFE is MUNDANE.
I thought, perfect. Something with the word Mundane because we can all relate. I only really knew Mundane to mean common, ordinary - like the "same old same old". But then I looked it up and the other two definitions that dictionary.com gives are 1.of or pertaining to this world or earth as contrasted with heaven; worldly; earthly: mundane affairs and 2.of or pertaining to the world, universe, or earth.
Then I started thinking to myself. Heaven is a part of our World. Every time we experience something wonderful, joyous, happy, anything good, we are experiencing Heaven here on Earth! So, to reflect everything that is happening in life, everything I could ever imaging writing about, I am writing about the moments I get to experience Heaven in this life on Earth.
I hope that you will follow me (and sometimes my Hubby) on this journey where we find what seems ordinary, common, of this world only - the MUNDANE, and find the Heavenly in it!
